LONGUEUIL, Que., March 10, 2008 – Pratt & Whitney Canada has received type certification from Transport Canada and the European Aviation Safety Agency for the PW127M engine, the newest member in the PW100 regional turboprop family. The PW127M will be offered on these aircraft going forward and will also be the standard engine on the newest versions of ATR's aircraft, the ATR 42-600 and the ATR 72-600.
